What are the supported document types?
Docubate supports the following file types:-
Microsoft Office - doc, docx, ppt, pptx, pps, xls, xlsx
Acrobat/PDF - pdf, ps
Open Office - odt, odp, sxw, sxi
Text - txt, rtf
Can I re-edit a document once I've published it?
Docubate is not an editor there is no way to change a document's contents once its been uploaded. You can, however, make changes to a document locally and upload as a new document.
Can other people access the files I upload?
The hyperlink to your document in the email you receive is not shared by Docubate. Unless you share the hyperlink it is very unlikely that your document could be located by 3rd party's.
I didn't receive the email?
Please check that the email didn't end up in your spam box. The email is sent from the address docgen@docubate.com
How do I share the document with others?
To share the document for viewing and discussion simple forward the email onto people in your address book or use the share on Facebook button to share with Facebook contacts.
How do I logon?
By logging on your options for mugshot, email and blog address will be remembered. You can log on using any of the third party services listed, or you can create a dis.cuss.it account and logon using that.
Does Docubate support Gravitars?
Yes. Simple use an email address associated with
Gravatar and you mugshot will be shown next to your comment.
Why won't my comments post with Microsoft IE?
Comments are posted via the dis.cuss.it commentary widget which currently has problems posting long comments (more than 2000 characters) using IE. To get around this please consider breaking your comment into 2 or more sub posts.
